    I sent them a sponsorship proposal last year, and I was excited to see a letter in my mailbox with the "JR" logo on it.

    But they only offered me a partial sponsorship at $800 off a supercharger...

    still too much for my "married, 2-kid having, mortage-paying ass".

    $800 off the original price? I've seen websites advertise them for about $3000. So I'm guessing you would have to pay $2200 for the Supercharger. Your right, that's still a lot of money.
